I'll Probly End Up Taking A Doe Toward The End Of Archey Season. Since All The Bucks I've Been Watching Are Now Dead.

We're pretty close then...And I agree I wish my daughter had been able to go today. I would have had her shooting and would be posting a pic of her with her doe. but as it were it must have been meant to be.

what are the chances of shooting the same deer she took her first shot at.

At the time we had no clue she was as nice as she is. I just knew she was a mature doe when she shot at her as she was alone...but she was with 5 others today and she was biggest.

Congrats... I love to see people take mature does in Ohio, as you know, the buck to doe ratio is not great.

That looks like a very big doe (140 pounds?) did you weigh her?

I am getting frustrated with my hunting group, they all passed on does in the hopes of getting antlers this year. I am left with having to go take a couple of does now to keep the population and ratio in check.
