hunting over snow??

so there is snow on the ground here in central missouri. and it is muzzleloader season. i'm wondering where i should set up?? we have some hilly brushy openings where a huge three phase power line runs. a-lot of open fields and some very very very dense woods. if you guys were in this sutuation what would u do?? and some tips on hunting post-rut/post-season?? it's like the bucks just dissapeared and it's only does!!

I would get out and look for tracks. That will tell you where to hunt.

Corn fields. Make sure he hasn't harvested it yet.

Find an easily accessable food source, winter wheat for example. Even in a dusting you can see where the deer are runnning. Look for tracks anyway.

Any kind of good food source. The deer really start to eat after the rut.
