i recently posted this in the trail camera forum,which is kinda slow now so ill post it here here in MO the rifle season is over and i seen a very nice buck that i would like to watch until next season. i have found a "rubline" i think....5 rubs and 3 scrapes in a line...so my question is where would be the best chance for success to get a picture?? over a rub?a scrape?a mock scrape even??or other?? when i seen this guy he was with 7 does and 2 little bucks. i would show you kill pictures but a doe winded me [&:][&:]any help is appreciated!btw it snowed 2 inches lastnight if that affects anything.

If you know his winter feeding area and bedding area, try to set up on the travel route between those. I think that might be your best bet.

if there is a chance that there are any last minute does coming in heat then he will continue to check his scrapes. if you know that the rut is completely over then I would find his trail leading into the field where he eats and put the camera there.
