Dad Gets His First BUCK EVER 8pt pics inluded
 

Well after about 8 yrs of trying we fianally got some luck on our side for once. I know he got it with a muzzleloder and this should go in another forum but I spend my timeon the bowhunting forum. Heres the story maryland opening day of gun season today he has the muzzleloder I have my bow. First light I see a fox but no deer yet alot of shots all around though. 8:00AM I call him and see how he's doing I wanted to get down early I have been fighting a cold so I said we will sit until 8:30AM. 10 minutes later I look to my left into the cornfield and see some deer trotting his direction so I call him on the radio and say here they come 5 minutes later pow. I call back and say you gotone he says yeah 6 point down I said yeah right. So I get down and walk to his stand to check it out I walked up to it and said thats not a six it's a nice 8. I tell you no one deseves it more been hunting hard for probably 6 yrs and gets his first doewith a bow and now a buck this year. We dropped him off at the taxidermy place tonight should have it back in 2 or 3 months. I think I have a trail cam pic from this buck over a scrape but have to find the pics might post when I find itand see what you guys think. I measured the spread was 16 I have never scored a deer what do you guys think he will score I think RobPA ispreaty good at scoring deer. This buck was following behind 2 doea a yearling and a 3 legged doe one of the other hunters shot it that was preaty neat to see.Well thanks for reading here are some pics enjoy.

A good successful hunting trip on both parts and its good that you all shared in a special trip that will never be forgotten and money can't buy, that's one of many of reasons that I hunt. :) Congrats to the both of you.
