7MM Rem Mag shells

RE: 7MM Rem Mag shells
If the 160 aframes shoot well it is all the bullet you'll need for moose and deer. I have harvested deer, elk and moose using 160gr slugs flung from a 7mm rem mag and never encounter a problem. As such i haven't ever seen the need to load 175gr. In fact when using the 7mm rem mag for elk and moose I have been using the 140gr Barnes TSX with awesome results the past number of years. My deer bullet of choice is the 150gr NBT. I personally wouldn't use it or something similar on the likes of the moose. While they aren't the toughest to topple they are still large muscled, boned and heavy hided which i think requires a controlled expansion type bullet.
BTW I have harvesteda numberofmoose with a 7mm rem mag as well asother chamberings/weapons. My bowwinkle from this fall!
