I'm looking for a slug gun for my 18 yr. old. Any suggestions? Thanks much

Depends on what you want to spend if money is no option nothing beats the remington 1100'sor 1187 semi auto If on my budget mossberg 500 w/ rifled barrel and a 60 dollar scope and you can w/ the right loads shoot 3 inch or tighter groups at 100 yds mine likes the winchester sabots or lightfields 125yds or under its on the grill

I have both the Remington 870 and Mossberg 500. You'll and your son be happy with either one.

i like the 870, ive hunted with mine for 6 years and dont see any reason to switch any time soon...

If you haven't figured it out its hard to beat a Remington 870. I bought a fully rifled barrel for mine and its shooting 3 inch groups at 100 yards no problem. I'm sure Mossberg 500 can be as good. I wouldn't get rid of mu 870 for nothing.

My 12 year old daughter shot it with no problem too. 12 Gauge... She's pretty tough though...LOL
