TN 8pt down!!
Our rifle season opened Saturday in Tn and after not seeing much Saturday and Sunday Morning,I got to my stand and sat till dark with out seeing the first deer,and then this guys comes strolling down the edge.First shot was a clean miss! He just stands there and the 2nd one put him down for the count! I guess his age at 3.5 his body is huge for a Tn deer and his hooves are very big also,The pictures deosn't do him justice.I posted it on another forum and they said 2.5 but like i said the pics doesn't do justice.He is a typical east TN buck, East Tn doesn't grow huge racks because out soil is very sandy and nothing but clay,bu middle and west TN grows some monster!I've been passingsmaller bucks for a while now on this place and it is starting to pay of.This is the 3rd good buck come off of it.Last year killed an 8 about the same size and the year before that took a 10 that was alot bigger than both the 8's.Well enjoy
