Deerless streak is broke finally!
 

Hahahaha

This deer means a TON to me! After hunting almost everyday since September...I finally got a deer. I had been passing up small deer all season, but tonight this monster didnt get away:D:D. I actually thought it was a doe until I found him, but the ol' 30-30 did the job with a 50 yard shot and 40 yard recovery. This hoss gave me a heck of a time dragging out...being he tipped the scales at 50 pounds and all lol;);)

At least your deer slump isn't lasting since last year. I still have yet to shoot any deer in my entire hunting career, which started in 2007.

My aunt went 3 years without getting one, then she shot a pretty nice 8-pointer last year to end her bad luck streak. I think bad streaks happen to most every hunter, of course some more than others.
