I picked the woods. but on the edge of the woods looking into a farm field or open field is just as good.

I don't think we have what you consider "woods" out here. We have shelterbelts, and draws with trees, but no big woods. I don't think I would be able to sit in the stand for very long if I could only see 40-50 yards. Out here I can normally see up to a mile, sometimes even more..

I voted the feild.

But I usually do not hunt feild in the mornings. I almost always am hunting the big woods in the mornings because I feel like I can catch a buck heading back to his bedding or finding does that are bedded.

I like blocks of trees that sit on a fenceline. Especially when there are different crops being separated.

I voted woods, because that's where I hunt most. I love hunting fields in the evenings though!

The deer just love the ceder patches. Woods for me.

In the woods 20 to 30 yards off a field, Lots of other annimals hang out there...

i put woods, but really i like hunting near the edge of a field in the woods

Where I hunt/live is very hilly, its the lowlands. Mixed woodland and lots of farmland.

Lots of roe, fallow deer, pheasants, woodcock, wood pigeon, grouse, patridge, foxes, squirrels etc.
