DEER MOVEMENT

Last week I read an article on the net about this guy(can't remember his name) whotook notes on deer movement while doing several hunts across the county. His conclusion is that there is a number of factors that come into play with deer movement. Some of the factors which he talked about were human pressure, precipitaion, barometric pressure, wind, moon phase and temperature. So here is my question, does cloud cover factor in with deer movement? I've heard several hunters talk about wanting to be in the woods on a cloudy day. What do you think?

RE: DEER MOVEMENT

Interesting, mind you I am new at this,,but just read an article the other day that suggested deer will come out from bedding earlier than usual on a cloudy day because the light is lower than it normally would be..Not sure how true that is, but it makes sense..seeing how they come out in low light, such as dusk
