gorilla 2 man stand from good ole wally world. $115, more room than you need, comfortable, comes with storage bags, 15' tall, 500lb weight limit and not too heavy to drag into the woods.very sturdy too
That is what I use and love it. Good quality for cheap money. Mine is still down in Missouri at the lake of the Ozarks (moved back to KS now) and I just went and bought a new one to have up here last night. Not sure about all stores but the WalMart by me had them on sale for $97 when I got my 2nd onelast night.

I have probably 30 stands total. All my hang on's are made by either Gorrila or Rivers Edge (various models, but usually the kong or big foot). My Climber is the Summit Viper SS. And the 5 ladder stands i have are just cheap single man 15ft ladders, not even sure who makes them, I just get whats on sale when it comes to ladders.

All the stands are affordable and last for years and work great.

I have two Rivers Edge Woodsman Extreme ladder stands (one XL) and I am very happy with them. I helped two friends put upa coupleGorilla ladders last weekend. They were also nice but the new Kongs are not as good as the ones they had a few years ago. We searched all over and couldn't find the older style Kongs with the wider ladder. I'm sticking with Rivers Edge. Shop around till you find what you like.

I use almost exclusively... ladder stands. I have 9 stands of all styles. I only buy the ones for about $60 - $70. They are all similar except and of the same quality, butI have foundone big difference. You can shop around and find them for as I said, about 60 - 70 bucks.

Look for the ones that have the seat bolted to the ladder. The seat will stack on top of the frame as itdecends down the ladder. The other kind will just be a 90 degree arc and decend the down the ladder.

The difference is the seat that is bolted on sets you away from the tree furtherproviding a much deeper seat area and much more comfortable. If the tree isn't perectly straight or leans toward you it make a huge difference.

Here is an example of the styleyou do not want:

http://www.sportsmansguide.com/zoom/zoompop.asp?i=151270%5Fts%2EJPG&h=320&w=32 0&bgc=FFFFFF&ui=3&mz=2&cf=2&nv =3&c=&mode=zoom&adid=473858

Here is an example of the style you do want: (minus the shooting bar, ect.
http://www.sportsmansguide.com/zoom/zoompop.asp?i=138778%5Fts%2EJPG&h=320&w=32 0&bgc=FFFFFF&ui=3&mz=2&cf=2&nv =3&c=&mode=zoom&adid=450105

You also do not want the ones wherethe ladder part narrows down about half as wide as the actual seat because you can not put both feet side by side.

Hope this helps!
