Big Nebraska Buck
 

I shot this brute on last Saurday morning a little after sunrise.

I hadn't seen anything all morning until I hear a number of deer running my way. A couple of does stopped right by my stand and somehow picked me out, so i was having a hard time looking at the other deer that had run in with them, but were farther away. After they headed north to the other deer, I see a buck but I couldn't tell how big he was because he was behind some trees. Luckily for me, he pushed all the deer back south, within 15 yards of my stand. I didn't see how big he was until he popped out from behind a tree only 20 yards away. I quickly pulled my.270 up and shot him right through the lungs. He ran about 20 yards and dropped over dead. He's my biggest buck to date.
