shoulder bone

I am shooting 12 gage lightfields, will this blow through shoulder bondes and brisket? I am curious about quartering to and straight on shots. I normally bow hunt and these shots are a major no no with a bow so i was just curios what you guys thought about slugs.

A 12 gauge slug is devastating. It will blow through both shoulders most likely. I'd avoid straight on shots.

yes it will go through almost everything

if you feel comfortable with a dead on shot, take it.

when they're dead on aim for the neck. that way you'll either drop them deadin their tracks or miss like hell. nothing worse than wounding one with a non-vital shot and having to track forever.

Exactly.Unless I need to make a shot longer (in a rifle state)than 100 yards I'm always carryingmy 870. I shoot sabots though. They hitREALLY hard and will put them down if you do your part.
