Default Rats chewing holes in my ground blind.

Have any of you had to deal with rats chewing holes in your ground blind?

If so how did you deal with it.

Also, how early do you like to set up ground blinds before the season?

I had mine set up 2 weeks ago for Oklahoma rifle season but thanks to the wind and some rats I'll now be putting up a new one Saturday, just one week before the season starts.

Never had any rat problems. I brush it in real good and have some bird poop issues on the top.

I usually put it up at least 2 weeks before archery and leave it up the whole season.

When hunting public land i bring it in with me, brush it in and have at it

I hunt in Northern Oklahoma.

I thought about getting some rat poison and putting out as well. There are so many that you can hear them running around in the evenings when there is no wind. I think they like the Milo.
