Need a little advice...
i hunt in the missouri river bottoms, and the levee is a huge thing out there. you see we usually have crops and other food sources on the rivers side of the levee, but this year our farmer gave it a break. but on the other side the crops are still there and you can see for almost 2 miles because it's so flat. with afew stands on fence line timbers the deer have been bedding down there in the day, feeding in the huge open fields and the big bucks we have are out in the open and are impossible to get to almost. they cross back over in the evening to get to the cover of the heavy timber and cover. but here is my problem, how do i get these big boys in to range in the open when i have no cover or trees really to set stands. i was wondering if anybody had any advice. thanks for any responses

Hunt closer to where the bucks are bedded, catch one acting stupidduring the rut, dtry using an Ultimate Dripper widh Golden Estrus Scent, it only drips when the sun warms it up. It might bring a buck to during daylight hours,

Consider putting up a blind in the middle of the field several weeks before season. Get into it early in the morning (2hours before daylight). If it is dry enough, you could also dig a pit blind in the field where you see them feeding (the farmer might not appreciate that).
