I definitely agree. Season is only here for so long. You can't get the deer of a lifetime by sitting on the couch watching hunting shows on tv.

like every one is saying (in different words) if you dont go out chances are the big boy on your property will walk by so if anything else take a nap

Ditto what everyone else said. If you are really struggling, take something to do. I read my Bible and every time I am in the stand. I usually take a hunting magazine as well.Itake some kind of snack and a drink. This will keep me in the stand an extra hour or two during the prerut when I try to hunt long.

Obviously, I am not as good a hunter with a book in my hand. But, I'm much better than I would be if I were inside.
