His body was actually huge, but i believe he is a 1.5 year old. Hes definately a big boy though and has good character for a young deer.

I believe he said that he was confident taking the shot, which means he WAS careful with his shot.

A great example of why a Remington 870 with a buck slug will destroy anything in front of it. Nice deer!

I know my gun, i am confident in my ability and i know the anatomy of a deer. Was it an ideal shot? No. But it was a shot i was confident i could make. 15 Yards with a 870 Fully Rifled barrelwith Sabots and a Scope, I was as sure as humanly possible i could place the shot exactly where i wanted it. Thanks for your concern though.
