wtf happend question
Heres what happend: i am in my stand when its still dark, a hour goes buy now its shooting light dont see a thing. I grab my "buck roar" calland give it a toot, I get 1/10 of a sec into the call when i here the nose blow and a white f.u. flag.The deer run off about 50 yards than the wtf happend... the deer stop to blow at me 3 or 4 quick blasts than ran off some more
the wind was in my faver the deer ran off the frist time when it was 40 to 50 yards away why did it stop to blow at me again? why did the deer bolt to begin with? |

Oh he saw you when you moved and busted you alright. And when you even began to toot on your call that put him way over the edge. He stopped and gave the 3 or 4 wtf blows just because deer are curious. He put it all together and got out of there.

You were busted. Its hell to have that happen at day break but you were busted by a doe. It winded something that wasn't right or it crossed your path to your stand. Thermal currents and wind change are your worst enemy. I have never known a buck to keep blowing, they'll blow/snort one time and leave but the does can blow for an hour warning that something just ain;t right. Just like a barking squirrel. Good luck. Now that your busted, dont hunt out of that stand ofr a coupel of days at least. I did the same thing, got busted, and got busted the next two nights. B@stard knew exactally where I was and was looking for me......
