You better stock up. I just called my local gun dealer and he said he is out of all rifle ammo. People are buying it all up in anticipation of Obama's 500% tax increase. Im a bow hunter, so It wont hurt me too bad. I still like to have ammo for my guns. As it stands, i am out of 06 bullets and can not find any. I also need to stock up on powder for reloading. Its going to get taxed as well. Our local gun dealer said that if the tax gets pushed through, he will have to close down the shop. He is running his families gun shop, that has been in buisness for about 40 years.


If the Tax gets pushed, which it most likely will....... Thank you to the gun owners who voted for Obama.[:'(]

500% increase on what? tax increase on ammo? After the nuts settle down and store shelves return to normal, you'll be able to find plenty.

course if you earn less than 200k.....I suppose you can afford more ammo with your new tax cut.

A 500% tax on all ammo, guns, and reloading supplies. I know of two local shops that said they will have to close their doors. And if the ARB gets pushed through, which the congress is already preparing for, Cheaper than Dirt, out of Dallas will be a banned company. And since Obama has a majority in congress, Im sure the tax will go through.

i went to my local farm and fleet and bought 8 boxes of .243, 5 boxes of .338, 4 boxes of .280 and 10 boxes of 12 gauge. i also re-load and i have plenty of powder and bullets so i should be set for awhile
