Here in NY The DEC sends me a bowhunter sighting log every year, to log the amount of deer I see in a sitting, during bow season. I noticed that Ive hunted 8 days out of the 17 days bow season has been open here. 3 were all day sits. Ive killed no deer yet though.

Approximately how many days have you hunted, and how long has deer season been open for you, and what if anything have you killled so far?

Starting this Saturday,5-6evenings a week till January 1st. I only get mornings to hunt next week and rainy days.[:@]

I hunted 23 times in October...that's when our season opened. Haven't killed a whole lot though. I smaller 8 pointer and the rest of the time i've been videoing. Good question though!

i have hunted 8 days for deer, and 7 for elk all in october. Our deer season begain in Sept but i didnt hunt, and it doesnt end till late March. But bucks can onlybe shot from Oct to the beginning of Jan. Im hoping to get out more.

Passed up a ton of animals, waiting for a big boy or the rut to finish before i start shooting does.

I've been out almost every day since our rifle season opened Oct. 26th. Have seen 2 bull elk, 3 cow elk, and ~ 50 whitetail deer so far. Shot at a nice buck (twice!) last night and missed. Checking my scope today to make sure it hasn't gotten bumped

Snowing here today and looking forward to hunting this afternoon. Maybe I'll just go right now.

I have been hunting 15 times since the beginning of october. Shot an average 8 pointer and have given the bow up for a camera tell rifle opener in mid-november.
