A Posible World Record Buck Taken.
 

On Nov. 1, Bob Decker, of Eau Claire, Wis., killed what was possibly the most famous whitetail in North America.

The buck was filmed earlier this year near Mondovi, Wis., and the video was released on Field and Stream's Web site. Whitetail authorities across the country immediately began to debate whether the giant whitetail could be a walking world record — larger than Milo Hansen's huge Canadian typical.

Bob Decker of Eau Claire shot this buck, believed to be the animal made famous this fall after a video of it was posted on the Web site of the outdoor magazine Field and Stream, while bow hunting Saturday in Buffalo County. Experts have speculated the animal may challenge the typical buck world record.

It may very well gross more than the Hanson buck. Maybe a good amount more. But deductions will cost it the world record.

It will never make the typical WW. Not even close.

It isn't even a typical rack. There are multiple common bases and / or split tines.

At least two tines, and possible three on the right beam have a common base
Very possible two or three on the left beam have a common base or split tine.
