PROBLEMS WITH BORDERING LAND OWNER

RE: PROBLEMS WITH BORDERING LAND OWNER
I have to think that there is some sort of misunderstanding here. Maybe someone is trespassing his property and he mistakingly believes it to be you, someone has stolena stand or damaged something like a gate or fence.Maybe something like that. ( Maybe contact the local LE agencies and see if he might have contacted them complaining about things he thinks you have done. )
Christmas is right around the corner. I say send him a basic Christmas card with a little bit of a note nicely written in it. THINK before you start writing - maybe a few drafts first. Maybe something like ..........
Mr. Johnson,
Sure bet you didn't expect to be getting Holiday Greetings from me but I felt inclined to reach out to you and what better time than Christmas? I would surely like to mend whatever seems to be troubling our neighborly relationship but am at a loss for what might be the cause of the obvious friction.
It would mean alot to me to think that I am looked upon favorably by you and all my neighbors. If you could sparea few minutes of your time pleasefeel free to stop by anytime. You are always welcome at my place.
Wishing you a warm Christmas,
Mr. Byler.
Doing something like this lets you rest on the fact that you did indeed make a genuine attempt at resolving things. Maybe he will drop by and chat - maybe not. But there is also a good chance that he will just stop his BS and you can live side by side keeping to yourselves.
There is another think to think about and that is he might be suffering from some sort of mental issue and not thinking too clearly or rationally. Or he could be related to TDWW and have an self-imposed and imaginedsuperiority complex. Does he wear sleeveless shirts, constantly look at himself in the mirrorand spill alot of senseless BS out the side of his pie hole?
Peace out.

RE: PROBLEMS WITH BORDERING LAND OWNER
I would bet he has a nice buck or two feeding in that plot, and he does'nt want you guys killing them.
Sad, but crap like this happens all over the country.
The hunter harrassment is possible, I would contact the law if it continues.

RE: PROBLEMS WITH BORDERING LAND OWNER
I think that this is one of those issues where we really need to hear all the facts. Is this old guy really shooting in a manner that is harassment and dangerous everytime these folks are trying to hunt or has it just happened a time or two. Is he actually shooting off of public roads or private farm roads, etc? The thing that really annoys me is that deer hunters seem to have a higher percentage of people in their ranks who think that buying a license means that no one else can be anywhere near them when they are out hunting, even if it is on adjacent land.
