RE: How Much corn will a deer eat ????????
OK , I checked the area. All deer tracks,no bear tracks or coon. When I put the corn there it was a mixture of thick rye grass and clover. Now there is a 8 foot circle of bare dirt with deer track on top of tracks. Looks like a elk hole. Then I talked to a neighbor who owns 400 acres down the road. ( not adjoining but close). He said he only shoots bucks 8 Pt and better and never shoots does. He made a count this spring and said he has seen around 120 doe and around 60 buck on his 400 acres. I dont know this for a fact, just what he said. When I drove up the driveway I seen a wall of tails entering the thicket. Pulled up within 40 yards of the feeder and after 10 minutes five deer came back, along with 2 buck, then finally 11 more doe. I went up to the other feeder at the gas well site and that had deer in it.All took place at 12:30 PM. To bad I probably only have 1 year to hunt it.

Look at those little stink pots in that picture! LOL! Man back in the day when I was a young man we'd be getting the Walkers out and treeing some of em for a good blasting. You dont get much $$ for a coon hide anymore. Coon hunting is a good time especially when you have a bunch of people going. Well I think you probably have a mess of deer visiting that feeder and coon/possums to boot. Find a coon hunter(s) and let them take care of business for you.
