Clear Cut Strategies??

Our club has alot of clear cuts with the hardwood bottoms remaining. Im finding some sign in the hardwoods,scrapes, feeding sign. The trails are worn along the edge of the cut and hardwoods. I believe the deer are bedding in the cut, What area would should i look to put stands, I have one overlooking hardwood bottom with some cutover. What the quietest way to get to the stand?? It seems I have to go thru thick cut or crunch thru hardwoods..
