Yes deer seem to love peanut butter...or so I am told (no experience). You need to be careful though and make sure you know your state's regulations rergarding baiting. Using peanut butter would be considered baiting.

i've never had any luck with scents. i just try to remain as scent free as possible and utilize calls.
