I don't know where it is that yall hunt, but for myself i've got about a 1 in 50 chance of getting out and having service.

texting on my phone is the only thing that i can find that amuses me at all in the stand. i usually text my dad, or my friends at school that hunt, and talk about what they are seeing. the button noise shouldnt be a problem, they arent that loud... i wish i had games on mine or i would do that too. but when i text ill type a few words and look around...so on and so on....

I choose not to use mine just because I want to sit and enjoy everything going on around me...even if nothing much is happening

I actually use my phone a lot in my stand. In fact, I have recorded a lot of small video clips and txt them to my friends of animals that I pass on. It's cool to show folks the deer walking by under your stand. I also use it to stay in touch with my other buddy's who are spending time in their stands... we seem to have a pretty good network going.

Your wrong, you cant escape the cell phone world, and really, why would you want to?
