I personally like North American Whitetail...but I really do enjoy reading any magazine that your state publishes. Like here in Iowa we have Iowa's Fur, Fish, and Game. It's cool because they cover stories from many places around the state that you often times know of or have hunted at, and they also do big stories from throughout the nation. Just my two cents...

D&DH is truly the best whitetail magazine out there other than maybe Quality Whitetails, but I think you have to get a membership to QDMA to get Quality Whitetails

Correct, a one year membership to QDMA will cost you $30.00. As part of the membership, you get a one year subscription (6 issues) of Quality Whitetails, membership decal, ability to participate in a local branch and attend deer management seminars, and new members receive a copy of A Basic Guide to Quality Deer Managementand Developing Successful QDM Cooperatives booklets (valued at $2.50 each).

For the information contained in the publication alone...it would be money well spent.
