So. ILLINOIS MONSTER.

This was stud was taken by a guy in Walnut Hill IL. Last Night. He had been filming it and watching it all summer. It was taken with a bow.

That is a heavy, very nice buck. Should have a nice gross score, but the extra on the left side would hurt the typical score.
You could have said the stud took a stud (looking at his background pictures).....:D

I'll be hunting in Saline County. Never hunted Saline before, but went to school at SIU for a few years so I used to hunt Crab Orchard all the time. I used to see some monster bucks down there, so I'm really excited. Hopefully the rut will be delayed a little bit so I can catch the tail end for shotgun season. How about you?

You do realize that the antlers and skull plate are all that actually gets mounted from the head, right?
