Are Older Slugs Still Accurate

Going to hunt again this year with my slug gun but have some older slugs Federal Premium with Barnes Expanders and am going to shoot it soon.Wondering what are the results you have had shooting older slugs that are kept in a nice cool place. They are about seven years old but were tack drivers in my H&R Ultra Slugster.Should I still expect good accuracy from older slugs. Thanks for any help. Mike

RE: Are Older Slugs Still Accurate

If they shot well for you 7 years ago, they'll shoot just as well this year. There is no deterioration of componants if the ammo has been stored in a cool dry place.
