what type of calling woud yall perfer for this time and other times of the season

Right now you can try rattling grunting or use the doe bleat can call i hear it really works .And put out some doe urine in a scrape, but remember some times a buck will come from downwind so watch your back side.

I would go with a bleat can. These calls are good for year-round and are easy to use to produce the desired sound, unlike tubes calls where there is a lot of room for errors.

good grunt call combined with rattling worked a charm on 2 nice OKlahoma bucks last sunday. 1 for me in the morning and my fiances first deer ever that afternoon

Not all deer sound alike, so most good manufactured deer calls will work, I use Haydel's.
