Default Laying a scent trail?

I just purchased a scent dragger to lay a scent trail. I read some articles on the internet about different methods of laying scents trails. The on that seems like it would be most effective is the figure 8 method. What method do you recommend and what scent do you use to bring in bucks (doe-in-estrus)? The rut is starting to kick in here in PA.

Default RE: Laying a scent trail?

I have had good success with Mrs. Does Pee. Not really used a scent trail, just had success with it in a dispenser around feeding areas and doe bedding areas. As a matter of fact, the last buck I shot washeaded towards the location of the dispenser. He cam right under my stand in a gait. I tried tostop him several times with a grunt, then a whistle, but he had one thing on his mind. I was able to get a shot when he stopped to cross a branch (water).

Good luck! Trial and error will be the best test. Don't be scared to experiment.
