Congrats on your first deer.I have the same bow,and I killed my first deer with a bow this year also with the kronik on 10-1-08,must be a lucky bow.

i know everyone says the liver shot isnt a great shot, but i have seen it be deadly. I made 2 bad shots on deer with my bow, both were hit in the liver both fell within 30 yds in sight.
i took a doe earlier this year with a slight quartering too, hit both lungs and liver, talk about a blood trail.

Nice. I remember my first deer it was a 87 pound spike. It was one of the best feelings ever!!!!
