Why would you say that without knowing anything about it? There really arent a whole lot of high fenced areas in Iowa. I can think of none off the top of my head. Feeders are illegal in Iowa as well. That being said, I would just like to warn all the out-of-staters that are thinking of moving here, that both of the big bucks have been shot out of out state so you can stay home now:D;)[8D].

What a huge buck. In Iowa you don't need fences or feeders because the whole countryside is nothing but corn and soybeans with patches of timber and CRP scattered around. Perfect for deer and turkey if you don't fear chemical buildup in your animals!

On that note, there's been an article here in western MT saying that chemicals used in Idaho potato farms (nasty places) are causing some of our bucks to have malformed testes/penises. Something to think about.

Ohhh how I love bein born 'n' bred in Iowa! :)It's always funny to me when guys from the south come up here to goose and phesant hunt with us and they seem to think that every buck up here is a mounter...bucks they'd hang on the wall wouldn't get a second look from a lot of us natives...
