Why, when there's such a big target with the vitals?

If your shots even a hair off, you risk leaving an injured, suffering animal out there. If that's your goal...you're no hunter.

I was referring to those that exclusively take head shots....sorry for the confusion.

If you take head shots you are ingorant. That is my opinion, but everyone is entitled to thier own.

thats def. comiong from someoone who is pretty ignorant themselves there bowman. and canned heat, you said exclusivley. thats pretty vague. i think the guys, myself included who arent afriad of popin a deer in the melon are saying if thats the shot they have, they take it. i do. but if i have a decent shoulder shot ide rather have it. up here in maine buddy you boys would go home empty handed w/ high and mighty opinions like that. you must be some of those polo shirt hunters w/ heated blinds and feeders and food plots i bet! i voted for #4 by the way

Id rather have a broad side shot but if all I can get is a head shot im all for it I also voted #4 [8D][&:]

If a head shot is all I am offered Ill let the deer walk. I can and will get a better shot than that. If your so desperate to shoot a deer that you need to take a marginal shot, then maybe bird hunting would be a better choice.

I'm pretty much either way for it, if i already have enough meat but want to shoot a deer for another family member might was well just try it, i mean you wont wound it so you dont hafta worry about that, and if you miss then well you miss who cares!

again you dont hunt up here. we have about 4 deer per sq. mile you might only get one chance pal. better make it count
