When do you leave your stand?

RE: When do you leave your stand?
depends on the night, if I have deer within view, I stay up there or in there until they are gone, I have waited over an hour into the dark before they left, didnt want to spook the deer, but if I dont have a deer near I leave when I can barely see

I'll get down when I can barely see. I hate lowering my bow and climbing down the ladder in darkness. Going up in the dark though doesn't bother me cause I know I won't step on my bow.

I would say when it's oretty hard to see because I still like to see a little when I'm going back to the truck. I'd hate to hit a groundhog hole and bust my ankle up. I've had too many foot and ankle injuries from basketball including 3 surguries so I don't need anymore injuries to them.

RE: When do you leave your stand?
I get down when I do not have legitimate shooting light, unless there are deer around. If deer are around I will stay until they are gone. I have also used a predator distress call to have them disperse without spooking them by me getting out of my stand.
