Good luck to you, but sometimes it is better to figure it out after you have killed a deer. I know times that I covered and carried everything I would need just incase, and nothing. And the time I left my knife home for a quick hunt I killed 2 deer, that sucked.

Gut the deer and throw it in the boat. I wouldn't suggest dragging it through the nasty water. I don't think blood would be any worse than fish guts. Like said before, it will wash right off. If you are not comfortable with that then tear open some GLAD trash bagsand lay the deer on top of them.

I hunt by a lake, and they sink, until they start to bloat; then they float!
Just put a tarp over the mahogany and leather trim on your boat, maybe take down the lace curtains, and put a carpet protector on the bow to stern plush carpeting.
