Deer droppings?

I was out scouting the other day and ran across a bedding area that was full of deer droppings. Among them were droppings that looked like cow patties. But there are no cows in the area. I'm wondering if any of you have ever seen deer droppings that look like cow patties?

The droppings tend to look that way when deer eat a lot of succulent vegetation. Food with a lot of roughage creates the classic pellets.

99% of our bears dietis palmetto berries and acorns, you will occaisionaly see hair in it. we don't have the hard winters that ya'll do that tend to cause starvation to the deer and allow the bears an easy meal ticket.

Yeah, I know. But this was like the size of a dinner plate in diameter. I've seen a lot of cow pies and know what they look like, and I've never seen a "deer pie" like that before. I kicked it open and it consisted of mostly vegetation.
