When you say "shoots all over", what kind of spread are you talking about?

What barrel do have on your gun? What choke? How far are you shooting? Yourange will probably be limited to 50 - 75yds with a smoothbore and rifled slugs. Fill in some more info and I'll try to help you out.

Try lightfield slugs ---> http://www.lightfieldslugs.com
Orget a riffled barrel and shoot sabots.

Youll want to use rifled slugs through your smooth bore to get the twist on the slug

Either drop the dough on a rifled barrel, a rifled choke tube, or work through a boatload of loads that pattern decent. Are you sure your peep sights aren't F'd up? Start at 20 to 25 yards and work out. Plain Jane Winchester rifled sluggers arepretty accurate.

Also a really good write up in last months Outdoor Life about the best 12 and 20 ga slugs. Lightfields took the prize..

i have a smooth bore barrel no choke (it dont have threads for one) and i started at 60 yards...shot all over so i moved to 40 yards still shot all over then i moved to 20 yards and still shot all over....sometimes it wouldnt even hit a 3ft. by 3ft. piece of ply wood

If you're not getting on paper at 20 yards....your sights are drastically off or your barrel is warped/bent. Something is seriously amiss with that gun. A quick trip to the gunsmith would be my recommendation. What make of gun, gauge, and barrel size is it? Does it just have a bead sight...?
