I hunted there years ago. I can't remember the Outfitter Ihunted with. I do remember I crossed the border around Presque Isle. Hunted 6 days dark to dark and saw two deer, both doe. There were two buck shot out of 20 guys. The two shot were very nice, a 9 and ten if I remember right. A great way to unwind if you love nature. IMO, if you want to see deer go elsewhere!!

I hunted in New Brunswick (Fredericton)a few years ago don't remember the outfitter. It rained sat in my stand from dark to dark, never saw a deer. There were 5 of us ,one guy shot a spike.I agree with white-tail-deer go else where .I was in Maine this past April talking to hunters and the talk was about Ontario. They had good results there.

I hunted NB 3 times for bear with the bow, I hunted with Kellys Sporting Lodge. They are great, I never hunted deer in NB, the hunting is tough for deer, but for Bear I would say go

I just got back from a moose hunt there. Great country. We saw a fair amount of deer. I would recomend Taxis River Outfitters. Relatively good success rate, good country, and they do bust their hump to put you on animals. I will be deer hunting up there in 2009... but only w/ Taxis.

BPF I never hunted N.B ...however I have hunted Alberta and Saskatchewan a few times ..I suppose there is a reason why you want to hunt deer in N.B. however if it were going again it would be Saskatchewan ....

I bear hunted in New Brunswick years ago. Sorry dont remember the outfitter. Lots of big bears, saw some good deer too. the Problem comes in up there is that most of the land they hunt is property of big Paper companies like Weyhouser and such. Alot of people trespass on there land, and could possibly ruin your hunt. I had a guy riding a four wheeler one night all around where i was hunting, and another night i saw a group of pouchers. I personally would head else where, but thats just my opinion.
