I wish I seen something close enough that first day in the stand, to shoot it. But whatever walks out in bow range is getting a arrow flung at it.

I was looking for a mature doe or mature buck. One or both would have been fine.

Opening day for mr I passed on a velvet 7 point. But I would take a doe if given the shot. OR a buck 8+

Bow season opened Aug 15 for me.. and Rifle Season opened Sept. 1 but i've only gotten in the stand twice.. been too hot. The first time I saw a doe and a fawn but we couldnt use doe tags yet. Then last night I didnt see crap...

now..i'll shoot anything
