lucky you! a north west wind will work real well if you set up a ground blind in that hedge row between the two fields and hes usin that trail (red line)

well since your in SW Ohio, and I hunt in Switzerland Co. in SE Indiana, I will just come over and show you how to hunt him. :D Seriously, right now I would do some lite tickling of a rattle bag and maybe a grunt here and there, that may strike his curiosity to see who the new guy is in the area.In a couple of weeks I would try to use a doe in estrous bleat once every few hours, but dont use it right now, its too early. wait for a few weeks and let it get closer to nov. If he is the dominate buck in the area, he should come to some lite tickling of a rattle bag right now, dont make it a full out fight. mimic two younger bucks wrestling around, sparing.I would also check the fields at first light and at last light and get a feel for where he is at. Not sure when you have seen this buck (time of day) but my guess will be an evening hunt.

you should pay close attention to the fields at last light to see if he is out there, if so, you can get him in the evening, if not, it seems that a morning hunt is your best option. Is there a good set of woods that he is coming from??? Are you able to hunt those woods? Trying to intercept him on his way to the fields at last light is an option but you have to know when he is heading to the field, if its not until after legal shooting hours, then you might have to call to get him to come earlier.
