i would probably just sit there and enjoy watching the deer. i would try to use that as a learning experience of its behavior. but i would be pretty disgusted

I would probably watch and sit still...I haven' t had much opportunity but have been watched and snorted at. Wonder, if the deer found me interesting...?[:o];)

If I dropped my bow and I had an opportunity I would probably pull it up the 4-5' it would have fallen as I always attach my Bow or Gun to a safey cord. Who wants the Bow ruined or worse the Gun going off in the wrong direction. Just a precaution I prefer to take.

JerseyHunter that is good advice, I' ve always tied a saftey cord to my gun also. I haven' t bow hunted up here yet, but if I were to get in a tree stand I' ld probably still tie a cord to the bow.

One thing the visitor did not say is if they were in a stand or not, we just took it for granted. If I were on the ground I slowly bend over and pick it up:D

if i dropped it real close then i would pick it up and try again, if it went farther down then i would still pick up it up and try again.:D:D that' s if it still wasn' t aware of me. it it seen me then i would stay as still as i could till it wasn' t INTERESTED in me anymore, then try again.:D
