Here is my hunting stand this year ..
 

I was out on the property that I have leased here in west Kentucky working on a ladder stand that I have at the edge of a large bean field ....I tried to como it as best I could so you guys tell me what you think ...the woods in the background I do not have permission to hunt and there is a fairly deep ditch right behind my stand that runs the entire length of the field..but the deer come from those woods to get to the beans ...I plan on hunting this stand and one other accross this bean field on a creek bed ...

hey, do you know any places to lease property to hunt, close to eastern kentucky? im from Clay County, Kentucky, and i'm think the place i usually hunt, is hunted to death, and not much game around anymore? and tryin to find a new area to hunt? thanks for any info.

So are you going to be just perched on top or is there a spot on the inside? Stand is covered great though.

There is a seat inside at the top ...its a ladder stand made by Summit ...yeh is a cpl of weeks it will all die out but I will be hunting it in about 3 weeks ...if it need more camo i will just cut more ..

looks great! In my experience tree branches will hold leaves well into the winter if you cut them off while still green.

What is that a 12 foot tripod? I dont feel bad now hunting out of my gorilla 9 foot quadpod every now and then. only mine isnt brushed in as well as yours but that hasnt effected my hunting much at all i have deer walk 10 feet infront of the stand with no worries

The stand to the left of the ATV in 1st pic is well hidden at present . As soon as the leaves start falling , it's going to be in pretty much plain sight .
How big is the platform ?

Your right about when the leaves fall and it being in plain sight ...I plan to move it after muzzle load season in two weeks ... here are a few pics I made this afternoon from that stand ...he is a young buck but was very healthy ...I saw 12 deer from 4 till dark ..3 different young bucks ...
