Just to Share Good News..
 

The Louisiana bow season starts on Oct. 1. This past Tues. a ranch owner gave us the go ahead to hunt his 2,000 acre ranch that no one has ever hunted on. We did two days of scounting and stand placement and WOW!!! The deer sign on this place is unbelievable. The only downside is that we acquired it only one week before the season so there was very limited scouting that could be done, but the little scouting we did do was enough to keep my blood pumping for a while. The very first day of scouting we had a real nice buck step out in the middle of a rode not even 20 yds away and 9 hogs almost ran us over at 15 yds. The second day we saw three different flocks of turkey. This is not a good thing but, while walking in this thicket we spooked a MOnSTER buk bedded down. I hope he comes back. Just thought I would share a little good new with you all...

Ahhhh, life is GOOD! Make sure you treat that land owner and his property with the utmost respect. Help him out when you can, and a nice Christmas gift for him and his family. I'm sure I don't have to tell you that places like that are getting harder and harder to come by. Congrats!
