I usually don' t reply to these type of threads, but I just wanted to say something about Buckfever synthetics scents. I don' t doubt for a minute that the rompola fiasco was a fake, and I don' t know just what kind of connection he and buckfever synthetics had, But I do know that the stuff works, and it works better than anything I' ve ever seen before. I live in north central louisiana and hunt on my own land and about 300 acres under lease, and I hunt real hard on public land also. My chances of killing anything over 120-125 are very slim, just to give you an idea of the type of hunting I get to expect. But anyway, to make a long story short, this stuff is definitely not a gauranteed slamdunk, but I' ve never seen anything like it before, and will continue to use it as long as they keep making it.

Mountaincur, although I' ve never used the product (and never will) i don' t doubt that there probably is some credibility in their product. God I hate saying that but I think a good synthetic scent would probably work better than most of the stuff they try to pass off as doe in estrus urine. I' m partial to Tink' s 69 myself but probably would have given the synthetic stuff a try if it weren' t for the fact that Kevin Kreh thought all of us hunters were a bunch of gullible idiots. You may be interested to know that Dan Bertalen, one of the people who " scored" the rack is the marketing agent for the companies that made hunting products used and endorsed by Rompola. What a coincidence. What does that tell you. How could anyone believe this scorer when he was the one that was marketing it and the products associated with it.
