When to start mock scrapes??
 

Ineed some info about when to use scents. I live in the Northeast, and my bow season starts on Oct. 18th. I found info about a synthetic deer attractant that I want to try for the first time. The company says to start mock scrapes a few weeks before season with the attractant…. Is early Oct. too soon to start mock scrapes?

Mid - late October you should start seeing some scrapes around. Id say why not try it, but im no scrape expert, i just pee in the ones I find :D

I've started a couple already and have had some snoopers. I usually start after they lose their velvet in hopes of beating them to proclaiming their areas. I want them to fight for mine.
