first deer ever!
 

My husband and I went up salmon fishing for 4 days. I ended up getting the biggest salmon out of our group. it was 36" and 14lbs. So after we were done we came back for the opening day for the early doe season. We went out and were sitting there, our neighbor shot, and i thought that was it i didnt think i had a chance. about 15 min after that, i look over and here come 4 does just a running. I waited for them to stop. I found them in my scope, and they spooked again. FINALLY they stopped just long enought for me to find the one. booom...I got it. i was pumped, I called everyone in my family they were all so excited for me. My hunsband was so proud of me. He didnt think that if i even had the chance, that i would shoot. and he said if i did shoot that I would feel bad. Well i did it. so the deer count for the husband and wife

Congrats! I'm kinda liking this early doe season in Michigan. I already got venison for deer camp!

i will post pictures when i get them on the computer, we have been really busy.. we are getting ready for bow season. I hope it one of many deer that i get. we did see an 8 point, but its does season so you can shoot it..we will see if we see him again in bow season. if that was my first buck that would be great.
