deer have instinct! They might flinch the first time the flash goes but in seconds they know it's an inanimate object that offers no threat. No worries whatsoever!

Bottom line is that not all deer spook with the flash but if you have taken allot of pic you will get seome that clearly show it does bother others and not sure what your goal is but if the one deer that gets bothered is the monster buck and being they tend to be the least tolarative I don't want to risk it. I bought a IR this year jsut for that purpose.

We NEVER put a camera in an area we anticipate hunting. We only put them on easy to access field edges, over mineral licks, or water sources.

Consider everytime you check your camera, you leave human scent to and from the area. You go into an area that you are hunting before and during the season for any other reason than to hunt and you are just waving a big white flag saying "hey - this is where I'll be". The only thing a hunter can have is the element of surprise. Don't ruin that!
