I would say at least 3 but he could be 4. The neck isn't that big but this is a pre-rut picture, his neck should swell up quite a bit in the next couple months. A little bit of a droop in his skin right on his chest at the brisket. He does have the makings of a beer gut on him as well, very well muscled shoulders and hindquarters. Legs appear proportionate to his body, on a 2 year old they still have that long lanky look to them and their front shoulders aren't as well developed. If I had to put money on it I would actually lean more toward 4 than 3 being that this is a pre-rut picture.

I would guess low 130's on his antlers.

I bet that buck is 3 or 4 years old ...and would gross over 140 ...has some mass ..good spread and long tines ...

I would say he's a 3 year old, and go ahead and shoot him if you get the chance. Now if you want to have some BIG bucks on your property, I'd say pass him. I'm doing the management thing and I'd have trouble passing him, and I might even shoot him. He's a very nice buck!:D
