hey all,

I've never utilized this part of the animal yet but really want to. wondering what everyone else uses the hide for, where they take it, and how much to expect it to cost. I live in the DFW area in TX, so any ideas would be nice.

You can buy some tanning solution (tan in a can from cabelas I think) and tan a hide yourself. They can be handy for identifying where on the body an arrow-shot deer was hit.
